Journal of advanced ceramics is an international academic journal jointly published by Tsinghua University Press and Springer publishing group of Germany. It is supported by the State Key Laboratory of new ceramics and fine processing of Tsinghua University and the special ceramics branch of China Silicate Society. It is an English journal of the special ceramics branch of China Silicate Society.

This journal was founded in 2012 and entered SCI retrieval system in 2016.

In order to encourage domestic scholars to give priority to the publication of outstanding original achievements in domestic journals, this journal will gradually increase the amount of publications since 2020, and gradually increase the proportion of domestic papers published (give priority to the papers submitted by the research group that has contributed to the development of this journal in the past few years).
